The Hylton Center offers artistic programming and initiatives to allow every community member to experience the arts in meaningful ways. These educational programs expand access to the Hylton Center's programs for learners of all ages.
Behind the Scenes Learning
The Hylton Center offers students and teachers a behind the scenes look at the inner workings of backstage: lights, audio, sets, and more. We also offer sensory-friendly, experiential, hands-on community-based instruction tours that reveal how a theater runs and what a student’s experience as a patron would look like.
Hylton Center staff members are available to introduce and discuss careers in the performing and visual arts at your school’s career day. Contact Hylton@gmu.edu for more information.
The Hylton Performing Arts Center can provide a variety of accessible services for your students so that they all may have a full and enjoyable experience. Learn more about accessibility at the Hylton. Contact email@example.com with requests and questions.
