Exploring Self & Social Identity with Women Veterans: A Mixed Media Workshop, Session I

The Exploring Self & Social Identity with Women Veterans: A Mixed Media Workshop Series is free and open to women veterans. Please note the information sheet on HyltonCenter.org/veterans for information about minimum age of participation, as well as our inclement weather policy and COVID-19 guidelines (including Zoom policies).

PLEASE NOTE: due to closure of the Hylton Performing Arts Center to all on-site programming because of COVID-19 precautions, the workshop series will occur VIRTUALLY on Thursdays, March 18 – April 1, 2021 in the evenings via Zoom. A short Zoom tutorial will be available to all participants prior to the start of the series.

The objective of the workshops is to help each participant improve their visual art skills through mixed media techniques, as well as to explore self and social identity; curriculum is flexible and determined at the discretion of the instructor to meet the needs of a diverse group of abilities.

Space is limited; therefore, we ask all participants to plan to attend the entire series.
