We’d like to take a moment to recognize the Hylton Center’s Lead Sponsor for the Veterans and the Arts Initiative – Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS, has been a supporter of the Hylton Center since 2017, and the Lead Sponsor of the Veterans and the Arts Initiative since 2018. AWS has a strong, company-wide commitment to hiring and supporting Veterans — members of its affinity group, Warriors @ Amazon, have even volunteered at the Hylton Center and participated in Veterans and the Arts Initiative programs! In addition to the company’s support of the Veterans and the Arts Initiative, AWS also hosts an annual Girls in Tech Day at the Hylton every fall where it introduces S.T.E.A.M. fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Math) to hundreds of girls and young women throughout the region.
