It’s September and music is in the air! Gather family and friends for three engaging outdoor Hylton on the Hill performances: a FREE celebratory concert by The U.S. Army Band Downrange (9/18) performing popular music for all ages; an afternoon of new American roots sounds from the Bumper Jacksons (9/19); and a charming blend of Bluegrass and country music from GRAMMY-nominated Nashville band The Grascals (9/26).

The U.S. Army Band Downrange performance (9/18) is sponsored by the Hylton Center Veterans and the Arts Initiative. As part of the most prestigious military band in the U.S. Army, the ensemble’s mission is to support the men and women of the Armed Services through popular music while reaching all audiences, young and old. Downrange performs up-to-date repertoire including rock, pop, country, R&B, and inspirational patriotic arrangements popular with all listeners. Bumper Jacksons (9/19) round out the weekend with an afternoon of new sounds from the forgotten 78’s, fashioned by the group’s own unique, playful style. September closes with a bang when GRAMMY-nominated Nashville Bluegrass band The Grascals (9/26) make their Hylton Center debut. Catch this hot, six-piece ensemble that serves up Bluegrass and country music in a blend of modern sophistication steeped in traditional charm.
