Join us for a Celebration of the Arts Alliance on Thursday, May 6 at 7 p.m. This highly anticipated event supports the Hylton Center Arts Alliance, which comprises some of the community’s most vibrant arts organizations, from volunteer to professional, by offering an affordable cost structure to ensure these artists can continue to bring their talent to our Hylton Center stages. Register to view this free, virtual evening broadcast live from Merchant Hall stage featuring performances by Arts Alliance members, testimonials of the Alliance’s impact, a live Raise Your Paddle fundraiser, and a home-delivered three-course meal by Susan Gage Catering available for purchase and delivery complete with a bottle of wine.
“The Arts Alliance is one of the cornerstones on which the Hylton Center rests—though ‘resting’ hardly describes the energy of the place when our Alliance members are busy making music, dance, theater, and art of all kinds in our studios and halls,” shares Executive Director of the Hylton Center Rick Davis. “We are so proud of the work this community produces and are honored to be a part of bringing it to life.”
All proceeds will go to the Senator Charles J. Colgan Community Arts Fund, which ensures that Arts Alliance organizations are able to perform at the Hylton Center at greatly reduced rates, making the creative capital of this region accessible for all. The fund is named in honor of the community’s great champion, the late Senator Charles J. Colgan, who worked tirelessly to promote this region’s artists, arts educators, and specifically, the Hylton Center -- in the state legislature.
