In support of the Hylton Performing Arts Centerís mission, the Buchanan Partners Art Gallery educates and enriches the Northern Virginia community by providing diverse and visual arts experiences. The Gallery focuses on the work of artists who have lived or worked in the Prince William, Manassas and surrounding regions. Through community partnerships, the Buchanan Partners Art Gallery provides an exciting and stimulating arts experience that expands cultural awareness, and integrates the arts into the regionís social, economic, and community fabric.

The 2018 exhibition of student artwork from Prince William County Public Schools represents the creative talents of students from elementary to high school. This exhibition features expressive and original works of art. The visual arts program in PWCS prepares students to be visually innovative and to develop an awareness and appreciation of visual art.
Gallery Reception: Saturday, February 3 at 3 p.m.
Gallery Receptions are free and open to the public, but an RSVP is required. RSVP to email@example.com

Purchasing artwork on display in the gallery?If you are interested in purchasing any artwork on display in the Buchanan Partners Art Gallery please contact our administrative office at 703-993-7550 or email Hylton@gmu.edu. When inquiring, please specify the title of the artwork you are interested in purchasing. Our administrative office will then send you paperwork that you will need to fill out and sign. Payment is made directly to the artist. Please note that purchased artwork can be picked up after the exhibit has closed at the Hylton Center.
Submission Guidelines for Buchanan Partners Art Gallery
Rolling SubmissionWho Can Submit?
The Gallery exhibits the work of artists who have lived or worked in our region. Submissions are selected by a panel and are chosen on the basis that the art supports the mission and follows the Galleryís policies and operations.What Is The Selection Process?
This panel will be led by the gallery coordinator.What Materials Should Be Sent?
Please submit a CD, photographs or high quality laser printed sheets. Supplemental materials such as an artistís statement, an exhibition proposal and a resumé are strongly recommended. Please make sure to specify the dimensions to be sure the work can be accommodated in the Gallery space. Artists will be notified by email regarding their proposal. If you wish to have your portfolio returned, please provide us with self-addressed and proper packaging for the pieces submitted, and postage.
Please note: The artist is responsible for the delivery of their work. We will retain your shipping and storage crates for repacking. The artist is also responsible for retrieving their work.
