featuring Lorin Maazel
conducting the Castleton Festival Orchestra

In this breathtaking performance, three dynamic soloists join the orchestra for a program featuring glorious highlights from the world's most beloved Italian operas.  Returning to the Hylton Center are Castleton alums, Jonathan Burton, tenor and baritone Corey Crider, along with one of the most luminous lyric sopranos in the world today, Elizabeth Futral, who is as well known for her lively and engaging theatricality as for the beauty of her voice. She has thrilled audiences in Washington D.C. in performances with the Washington National Opera and Washington Concert Opera; and has appeared with the New York City Opera, L.A. Opera, Houston Grand Opera, and many international companies and orchestras.
