Salute to Veterans:  A Concert for All Ages

  • November 11, 2017 at 4:00 pm

From pop to jazz to patriotic marches, this concert has it all! Enjoy a patriotic program of multigenerational favorites from across the decades performed by this band of all-star musicians from the original American Festival Pops orchestra. Anthony Maiello leads this ensemble of Veterans comprising the wind, brass, and rhythm sections of the Pops. Featuring guest artists, Darden Purcell and Mason Jazz Voices, vocalist Jim Van Slyke, and 14 year-old tap-dancing talent Luke Spring, this performance follows the day’s earlier Veterans and the Arts celebration.
